As the newly appointed Executive Chairman of ATL Insurance Group, I am thrilled to continue advancing our mission of delivering innovative and dependable insurance solutions. My focus will be on strengthening our broker partner networks and ensuring we remain at the forefront of the industry.
With over two decades of experience in the insurance sector, I have had the honor of leading ATL Insurance Group as CEO for the past 10 years. During this time, I concentrated on strategic growth, operational excellence, and fostering robust relationships with our broker partners. Under my leadership, ATL Insurance Group celebrated significant milestones, including our 15th anniversary, expanded market presence, enhanced product offerings, and the development of a strong network of trusted broker partners.
My passion for building strong teams and nurturing talent has been a cornerstone of our success. In my new role as Executive Chairman, I am committed to providing strategic oversight, governance, and a long-term vision that ensures ATL Insurance Group continues to thrive in an ever-evolving industry. I am dedicated to upholding our core values and driving sustainable growth while exploring new opportunities to better serve our broker partners, clients, and communities.
Jason Hawksworth | Chief Executive Officer

Jason is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience in the insurance industry. His impressive career includes a pivotal role as the General Manager of Distribution at Allianz, where he was instrumental in driving the company’s growth and enhancing its market presence. Prior to being at Allianz Jason was Head of Distribution at Chubb. During his tenure at Allianz and Chubb Jason excelled in various key positions, including NSW State Manager and National & Sydney Independent Broker Team Manager.
Jason’s professional journey is marked by his unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and excellence. His strategic vision and dynamic leadership have earned him a reputation as a respected figure in the insurance sector and he is committed to building long term relationships with Broker partners.

David Burgess | National Operations Manager

David brings over four decades of experience in the insurance industry. Since joining ATL Insurance Group in 2015, David has been instrumental in overseeing the company’s national operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
​David’s career began in the reinsurance sector, where he held significant roles such as Associate Director at E W Payne Reinsurance Brokers and Director of the Non-Marine Reinsurance Division at RFIB London. His extensive background in reinsurance provided him with a deep understanding of risk management and strategic planning.
Michelle Domanski | General Manager Claims

Michelle is a seasoned claims leader in the Australian insurance industry, bringing extensive experience across various pivotal roles. Her career spans motor vehicle claims, recoveries, and property damage, where she has navigated the complexities of insurance with finesse and expertise.
Michelle’s enthusiasm and passion for the industry are evident in her exceptional leadership skills and her ability to inspire and guide her team. She is dedicated to delivering outstanding service and ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and effectively. Her strategic approach and attention to detail have been instrumental in resolving complex claims and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Michelle’s leadership continues to drive the success and growth of our claims department, ensuring we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and partners.
Grant Clough | General Manager Underwriting & Finance

Grant is an Insurance Financial Specialist who brings a high level of expertise to our Underwriting Team. He oversees pricing, algorithm development, data analytics, and skills development within the Underwriting and Business Services Teams.
Grant began his insurance career with Hollard in South Africa in 2001, where he gained recognition for managing broker equity partners and applying his financial acumen to the entrepreneurial nature of insurance brokers. Four years ago, Grant relocated to Australia with his young family and joined ATL Insurance Group. His data-driven decision-making skills have been instrumental in developing algorithms and underwriting decisions that align with our technology aspirations.
